Embed Font វិធីការពារពុម្ពអក្សរ PowerPoint ឱ្យនៅតែស្អាតធម្មតាទោះបើកលើកុំព្យូទ័រគ្មានពុម្ពអក្សរនោះ។
I like to collect a lot of font families and install them on my personal pc. I am happy to use different tyepface in my PowerPoint presentation. Having a unquie font display in presentation make my PowerPoint looks great and outstanding. Using different fonts based on content and context like a professional design. I think. For me it has never been a problem when I only work and design PowerPoint presentation alone, but when it comes to collaboration work, it is a challenge for me at first. Becuase I use font I have installed in my laptop and it works well for me, but all my teammates can’t see font display same as what I see on laptop. For latin characters, it might not a very critical issue, but for Khmer typeface display it’s a matter a lot.

The same file as the figure 1 file, but this time we embeded the font family and opened on other laptop that has not installed Misans Khmer font family.

Unlike Microsoft Word that allow us to tick both options when we check embed fonts. Now when you check embed fonts in the file, you have to choose only one of the option available. To make it a right choice for you please refer to Figure 1 and read details explanation below:
Option 1: Embed only the characters used in the presentation (best for educing file size)
This option limits editing of the file using the same font. This checkbox is common for both PowerPoint and Word.
Option 2: Embed all character (best for editing by other people)
You choose this option if other people may edit the document.
After choosing the embed font option click “Ok” and Done!
Notice:
Not very font is embedble. You have to check the font you want to embed before embedding.
